Building a vibrant Lawrence Community of Young Professionals through networking and professional Development
Lawrence Young Professionals (LYP) was started in 2019 to create a space for the young professionals of Lawrence to network and offer support to each other. It has grown to include professional development and social gatherings as well.
Each month, we hold at least 2 meetings: a Networking Lunch, and Coffee Mingle or Happy Hour style event.
Networking Lunch (1st Wednesday of each month)
Located at Johnny’s Tavern North! A generous LYP Diamond Partner!
Coffee Mingle or Happy Hour (3rd week of each month – day may vary)
Locations change quarterly and include a little bit of networking time, Panels, Member Spotlights, Guest Speakers, or Professional Development activities.
Pop-Ups (Time and Location vary)
These social events will Pop-Up throughout the year and consist of all sorts of fun activities around Lawrence. Past Pop-Ups have including, bowling, golf outings, and dinners. Check out our calendar for our next Pop-Up!
